But, Xavier isn't as good as UD. I hope we get them in AC. They are literally one player and if you shut him down they are vulnerable ... if you let him shoot 15-20 shots a game they are vulnerable ... they don't rebound either. X goes to Florida and Charlotte ... let's see how they handle it.
I don't know if X or UD is "better" than the other this year, but Xavier is a tremendous matchup for UD. Xavier struggles with quick guards and athletic wings...or pretty much Dayton's whole team. Crawford is a stud, but outside of him there isn't a player on their team that matches up well with what Dayton puts out there. Even a really good center like Love has some trouble against Huelsman's physicality.
Xavier's got real issues, and while they're better off in the tourney sense than UD, it's not by much. If they don't win at Florida or Charlotte, they could have some bubble issues. No significant wins away from home or in the OOC. They're no lock.
Great game from UD, very cathartic. However, it means nothing if it isn't followed by three more consecutive wins against Charlotte, SLU and LaSalle.
XU fans are ridiculous... on their message board some of them are saying that they are clearly the better team still... THEY JUST GOT BEATEN BY 25 FUCKING POINTS!
